Mainly present along the coast of the Caribbean Sea, the red-eyed tree frog is a species of amphibians which can measure up to 77 mm for the largest females. Its name comes from its two large red eyes with vertical pupils, a characteristic resulting from its nightlife. At rest the tree frog appears completely green, it is only after dark that it reveals its true colors: white on the belly, blue streaked with yellow on the sides.
